The 10-5 Sleepers were based on Pullman plan number 4186, a CN and Erie/Erie-Lackawanna prototype, and were ubiquitous throughout North America (almost as much as the 10-6).

Since passengers in double bedrooms pay a higher fare than roomette passengers, said double bedrooms were placed in the middle of the car so that those passengers got the smoothest ride.

Bedroom seats have see-through armrests, and roomettes have curtains for privacy and each corridor window has its own handrail installed at the correct height.

All Super Continental Line passenger cars feature battery-powered interior LED lighting which is turned on and off by the Rapido Lighter, essentially a magnet on a stick.

Wave the Rapido Lighter over the AC hatch on the roof, and the lights turn on. Wave it again, and the lights turn off.

No more coach yards filled with lighted cars draining your power pack, and no more flicker!

Each car comes with a Rapido Lighter and two batteries.

All cars will negotiate 18" radius curves although 24" or greater is recommended.
