Under-Track Uncoupler (Delayed)
Hidden Magnet Provides Delayed Uncoupling Action.
Make your layout appear more like the prototype by using these hidden uncouplers. Installed under the track (and thus hidden by the ballast), these uncouplers are comprised of a permanent magnet and a steel intensifier plate. When couplers are stopped over the uncoupler, the couplers' knuckles open and move off center to the "delayed" position. You can then spot the uncoupled car to any location beyond the uncoupler by pushing – the open (delayed) couplers won't grip each other as long as there is no slack between the cars. Suitable for a variety of scales from HOn3 to O.
