The company's first convenience outlets were known as Tote'm Stores since customers "toted" away their purchases, and some even sported genuine Alaskan totem poles in front.
In 1946, the name Tote'm was changed to 7-Eleven to reflect the stores' new, extended hours — 7 a.m. until 11 p.m., seven days a week.
The sign comes on a clear background that can be cut as small as .72" wide x .72" tall and comes with a 3 position switch: flashing/off/all on.
Signs require three AAA batteries (not included) or use the MS-502-4804 Converter Module.
