Add incredible realism to your layout with trucks and automobiles that actually drive along your layout's roads. We joke you not! A tiny wire buried in the road guides rechargeable ni-cad powered cars which are complete with front wheels that actually turn and head- and taillights that illuminate. Car System vehicles are fully assembled and equipped with a can-type motor and built-in reed switch for accessories. A built-in socket allows batteries to be charged in the vehicle (charging time is about 7 hours and vehicles operate for many hours on a full charge). Riding on rubber tires, each vehicle actually steers as it moves around the corners. The front axle has a fully operational linkage and a strong magnet that follows the guide wire.
